Show & Shine Competition
FREE to enter - Saturday Afternoon
Sponsored by Jaguar Heritage
The Show & Shine competition aims to find cars that are beautifully maintained whilst also being regularly driven. Entry is only open to vehicles taking part in the Historic Vehicle Run or being displayed on Car Club stands.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the winning vehicles in the following categories: Pre-war Saloons, Pre-war Sports/Convertibles, Post-War Saloons, Post-War Sports/Convertibles, Saloons from 1980 onwards, and Sports/Convertibles from 1980 onwards.
Entry is limited to six vehicles per category - in the event that a category is oversubscribed, entrants will be drawn out of a hat.See the bottom of this page for entry forms.
FREE to enter - Saturday morning
Designed and Sponsored by The Watsonian Motorcycle & Sidecar Company
We would really like the car clubs to get involved with the competition to make Saturday afternoon an enjoyable and fun occasion by making it an Inter Club Event.
If two members from each club would take part it would generate some healthy and lively competition. Choose two of your finest to represent your club, then cheer them on to victory and we will award prizes for the winners.
A super-fun and enjoyable competition - entrants are given a series of challenges designed to test how good they are at parking, reversing and precision manoeuvring, with points given for knocking over planks, hitting cones or dislodging tennis balls. The driver with the least points at the end of the day wins! There is no extra credit for speed or style - slow and steady will almost definitely win the race.
