Information for Participants

Whilst the Festival of Motoring has previously been held over one day at Coventry’s War Memorial Park, the move to a two-day event at Stoneleigh means that the 2012 Festival is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.

What’s On

There will be lots going on across both days of the Festival, and because you will be away from the park enjoying the Historic Vehicle run for much of Sunday, we have designed the Saturday activities with you, the enthusiast in mind.  Full timetables will be here nearer the time, and you will be sent details of how to enter participant-only activities including the Concours and WheelSkills competitions, when we have processed your entry form.

If you are taking part in the run on Sunday we are also very keen for you to bring your vehicle to display at Stoneleigh during the day on Saturday.

The Saturday Evening Dinner

Round off a fabulous day of motoring in style, by joining us at Stoneleigh for a delicious three course dinner with guest speaker Ian Callum. During his time as Design Director at Jaguar Cars, Ian has led on design for the XK, XF and the stunning C-X75 concept and production vehicles. He came to Jaguar via Ford and TWR, where he designed the Aston Martin DB7 and Vanquish models – and we are delighted that he has agreed to give a fascinating talk at this very special event.
Tickets for the Dinner are £30 per person and are limited, therefore they must be booked in advance.

The Historic Vehicle Run

The flagship Historic Vehicle Run remains the integral element of the Coventry Festival of Motoring, but we have listened to your feedback and this year participants will enjoy an all-new route through the stunning South Warwickshire countryside, starting and finishing at the picturesque Stoneleigh Park. Entry into the Run costs £20 per car or £10 per motorbike – see below for how to book.

Car & motorbike clubs

In 2010, 30 clubs with over 250 vehicles took part in the event, and a fantastic time was had by all.

To book for your club, please complete the Car Club Entry Form below, giving details of each vehicle that will be on your static stand. If any members of your club also wish to take part in the Historic Vehicle Run and/or book a weekend package or dinner tickets, please also fill in a Weekend Packages entry form for each person to whom this applies.
